We Are Yet To Review Shatta Wale And Stonebwoy’s Ban From The VGMA – Chaterhouse CEO, Theresa Ayoade

Chaterhouse CEO, Theresa Ayoade has revealed that Shatta wale and Stonebwoy might not be awarded in this year VGMA awards due to their recent ban.

The year 2020 VGMA Awards might not be including shatta wale and stonebwoy following the Revelation made by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Charterhouse, organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), who reveal that Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale to be readmitted into the awards scheme is yet to be taken. The two artistes were banned indefinitely and stripped off all previous awards following a brawl between them at the 20th anniversary of the VGMAs in 2019 which saw Stonebwoy pulling out a handgun.

According to Charterhouse CEO, Theresa Ayoade during the Arts Edition of the Beyond the Lockdown program on JoyNews said: “We haven’t had an internal conversation around that yet.”

She, however, added that “when we are ready to make full announcement on the VGMAs, we will come up with a full statement on everything.”
